weekly nail v.31 + march maven box

Julep Polymer Top Coat
Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment

This is a really basic manicure but I just wanted to use one solid colour to get the full results of the new top coat I got in my March Maven box from Julep. I am so glad they offered this box because I've been really wanting to try out their Freedom polymer top coat but didn't want to pay the extra cash for something that may not be that great. I was kind of excited for the other items as well. I've been looking for something that would treat my brittle and peeling nails so it was the perfect box for me. (Plus, it came with candy!)

The Oxygen nail treatment is pretty good. I've only used it once so I can't really review it probably but it did make my nails shiny and my nail beds softer. I'm hoping after a few uses it will correct the tips of my nails, as they are really brittle at the moment. The nail tool they gave me is wonderful! It's a Teflon double sided tool for cleaning under your nails and quickly cleaning off the polish you accidentally got on your skin during application. The best part is that it can be boiled for sanitation and will sustain wear and tear. LOVE this thing!

Also, how gorgeous is my new red Essie polish? Really bummed its a discontinued colour because holy moly, I'm in love.

Happy Monday! xo
