FEBRUARY MAVEN BOX

Happy hump day everyone! My surgery went really well and my teeth feel incredible. I forgot what it was like to have zero pain in my mouth. Of course, there's soreness from the cuts and bruises from the surgery itself, but other than that I feel pretty great. Hurray! I took a nice walk with Josie and my mom today for some fresh air - even though I was told not to exert myself. Which made me feel kind of poopy but it was nice to get outside, and gave me a bit of energy to share something with you all today. My February Maven Box from Julep came in on Monday and I was so eager to paint my nails because these colours are AMAZING. (unfortunately they don't let you wear nail polish during surgery for safety reasons). I just sampled them today but they really didn't disappoint.

I chose the It Girl box this month, mostly because the colours of the nail polish, and I wasn't interested in the beauty products from the other boxes. But what made me love the It Girl box so much this month is because the colours were chosen by Roc Nation (Jay Z's company)!

I also received a gift polish called Love, which is the pretty pearl and pink glitter on my pinky finger, which was a promotional item so I don't think it's available anymore. I bought an add on this month too called Octavia, because its such a beautiful, rich blue (thumb) and I just couldn't resist.
