Spring Is In The Air!

Josie and I took a little walk the other night and I noticed a few spring flowers had grown over night in the flower beds at the new house. Crocuses are a sure sign of spring! Hopefully the weather will co operate so they will survive.

I had never seen, or rather paid attention, to the little white flowers in the second photo but my Mom said they are called Snowdrops. Neat. They look like tiny little lanterns.

What has popped up in your garden so far?

    1. It's been cold and rainy here still with a bit of snow - but the flowers are really trying!

  2. Lovely! Our daffodils & pansies have popped up, as well as a beautiful bright purple perennial, but I have no idea what it is!

    1. I see the daffodils trying really hard to come up on peoples lawns but to no avail. We keep getting random bouts of snow. No pansies yet!

  3. Too bad all of these died from the snow :(
Hopefully they'll pull through when Spring sticks around!
Here in San Diego we're pretty lucky and have been able to keep our Hibiscus blooming all winter long and now they're just completely filled with flowers, and our citrus trees are starting to smell amazing as well.

  4. I'm seeing a lot of daffodils and tulips are ready to bloom any day now so at least the ice storm didn't wreck them. the crocuses how ever have all basically died off
