FALL FINDS // MODCLOTH EDITION

One thing I love about Fall fashion, is the colours. Rich yellows and oranges, deep jewel tones, oxbloods (a LOT of oxbloods), navy, olive and lots of black and grey. My kind of clothing. Also, the inner lumberjack in me just screams every year when all the plaid and demin comes out. I can't help it, I'm Canadian!

Now that it's September, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is thinking about their Fall wardrobe, or lack there of. I desperately need new boots and a coat so no doubt, I've been frantically browsing the web for items that are my style and also my size. I ended up spending way too much time deep in the New Arrivals on Modcloth, and decided why not curate a list of must have items for Fall? (This is not a sponsored post, I actually am just obsessed with them). I can't say I'm the most fashionable person, or up to date on what's in style, but here are my top items for Fall on Modcloth, and hopefully you find something you like too!

I love dress and pea coats. They're always stylish and pretty on every figure. Also, PLEASE can I have this black coat? It's so gorgeous! I'm a really big fan of Steve Madden, can't you tell?

I've never been one to wear a dress in Fall and Winter but I could definitely see me wearing these frocks with a cute pair of black or grey tights. Who doesn't want a burgundy velvet dress though, seriously?

Sweaters. My absolute favourite thing about cold weather. There is nothing better than a comfy pullover or a soft cardigan. I love the penguins on this sweater and the hearts and stars kind of remind me of Mario Paint. And, I really love cute embellishments on pullovers like pretty collars or shoulder buttons. I'm also a firm believer that every girl must own a Charter School Cardigan and this peacock colour is perfect for fall.

Tunics and leggings. The perfect pairing (I mean, besides peanut butter and jam). Here's wear the Canadian comes out in me - Levi's, wine, eagles and plaid.

I love neutral bottoms. But hey, that's just me. Sometimes I like bright coloured tights, but mostly, you'll just find me in jeans or dark leggings. I'm a real sucker for anything cobalt or mustard though, and get a load of those Sandy Olsen leggings (Oh my goooodddddd I love Grease)! Swoon!

I'm a flip flop kind of girl, but I do enjoy the Fall because you can still get away with wearing shoes without socks, like flats or Toms. This season though, I'd really like to get into working on my shoe collection and these five would be a fine addition.
