The Product: A citrusy and refreshing shower gel, made with pink grapefruit and bergamot oils, it's sure to give you the boost you need in the morning. Clears your mind and tones your skin.

How To Use: Lather in a loofa or in your hands and rub all over your wet skin. 

Pros:

• Smells amazing, like lemons and grapefruit
• Clears your mind - no really, it does. It's so refreshing you feel rejuvenated after every use
• A little goes a long way, all you need is a pea sized amount
• Can be used as a light shampoo 
• Great for children

Cons:

• Doesn't moisturise the skin very well
• Scent doesn't linger (could be a pro for some)
• Doesn't leave that "clean" feeling

Worth It?: I got the 100ml bottle ($9.95 separately) in a gift box in December and I still have about 1/3 of the bottle. I alternate with two other Lush shower gels, so I'd say it's lasted me quite a long time considering how small the bottle is and how many times I've used it. You really get your money's worth if you use it well.

The Verdict: This shower gel is perfect for anyone who loves citrus scents, and for people who like to shower in the morning. The grapefruit, although it tones your skin after time, dries out your skin a bit. But, if you alternate with other soaps or shower gels it's not so bad. I decide what shower gel to use depending on what mood I'm in. Happy Hippy is great for when I'm feeling, well, happy! We also use it for Josie's tubbies, as it works good for a bubble bath. 

Tips:

• Ignore the reviews on the Lush website that criticize any product of "poor lather" - a lot of people say this about Happy Hippy. The truth is, and Lush employees will agree, shower gels, shampoos, etc. aren't suppose to lather up super foamy because it's all natural product. The foamy and bubbly lather you get from name brands is because they add all this other nonsense into it. So, even though it's not the best lather, it's still doing its job. 
• Like I said above, it's great for kids!
• Use lotion after showering with Happy Hippy to avoid getting dry skin. 
• Pair with other citrusy or beachy Lush products such as The Olive Branch shower gel, Big Shampoo or Whoosh Shower Jelly.
