Here's what you need, and how to do it in 3 easy steps!
Step 1: Wash your Lush pots really good in hot soapy water. Dry off and peel labels. The pots will most likely smell like whatever delectable concoction you had in there, but, don't worry that won't effect the soil. Make sure you use the large Lush pots so your plant has lots of room to grow.
Step 2: Using the nail (or anything you have that is sharp enough), poke two or three holes in the bottom of the pot. Pots are a soft enough material that you don't need a tool or any force to poke a good hole. Don't worry about not being able to return the punctured pots for your free face mask - Lush has confirmed to me that you can return them with holes as they get broken down and recycled into new items anyway!
Step 3: Add enough to soil to fill almost to the top, poke your finger in the middle to make a hole as deep as each herb needs. The directions on the back of each package differ. Make sure you're planting them as directed for proper growth. Add seeds and cover hole with more soil. Label with a grease pen, set in a tray and give them some water. Set in a window that gets lots of sun. Watch your yummy herbs grow!
