Style // Lady In The Garden

There's something about this dress that just makes me feel so lady like. Even though it does nothing for my curves and sometimes makes me feel very frumpy, it's just so elegant and dainty and beautiful. The lace sleeves and keyhole back are so feminine as well. I had almost forgotten about it completely until the other day when I was organizing my closet and saw it pushed towards the back. I almost didn't remember why until I tried it on again and went outside. The slightest breeze whips it up and sometimes it's hard to catch it before any passerby's see your undies! None the less, it's a beautiful, flowy and breezy dress for me to wear on the hot and humid days when there is no wind.
Also, can we just take note at how ridiculously long my hair is getting? I'm so obsessed with the length I have achieved! It's taken me so long to grow my hair out and have it remain healthy and manageable. I hope that I can get it a few more inches longer!
I'm really into pulling half my hair up these days too with an added bouffant. Even with a hair bow in the back, it makes me feel more "grown up" with my style. I usually leave my hair down and or have it thrown up in a top knot so I'm really trying to expand my hair look.
I think navy is definitely one of my go to colours, I always feel comfortable in it, and I'm not straying too far away from my usual black ensemble. Also, it pairs SO well with red lipstick! Which I've wore a few times now since saying earlier on the blog that I was afraid to go out into public with it on. But, now I feel more and more pretty with it on. I want more (because 5 shades already isn't enough).
