Favourite Photos From 2014

I know seeing all the year end recaps gets a little suffocating after awhile, so I wanted to stay away from making a giant post about how my year went. Instead, I just wanted to share some of my favourite photos from 2014, sort of photographic memories from last year. I'm a few days late, but man oh man, 2015 has been busy so far!

January // One of our goals for 2014 was to really settle into the new house, and while that plan didn't entirely unfold, we did manage to start on our bedroom, which is now a golden polka dottie dream

February // I threw a little baby shower for my sister before Torin came, my favourite part was decorating and baking!

March // I finally convinced Jesse to do style shoots with me, and his first time was great! It's like he was a natural. Unfortunately he hated it and now my sister takes photos for me.

April // My blog turned one on the first, that obviously called for balloons.

May // I finally met my nephew when Cherie came to visit and brought her son, Torin. I've been completely in love with him ever since.

June // This summer, I started Geocaching, and it's been so much fun hiking and exploring areas of my town. Can't wait until the Spring to start again.

July // I also started honing in my craft for French Macarons. It's a tricky endeavor, but apparently, I was up to the task! I've almost mastered every attempt since.

August // Cherie and Torin moved in with us, and so he became my favourite subject to photograph

September // Josie and I were given another opportunity to share a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins with one lucky reader, to celebrate my 26th birthday! Always a treat working with them. I also finally got the tattoos I've wanted for my sisters for almost a decade.

October // I shared one of my favourite items of clothing and a beautiful part of my town, during the most beautiful time of the year.

November // We got our family portraits done with a lovely friend of mine, Carina. This was probably one of the very few times Josie has smiled for a photo since she was an infant.

December // I partnered with eShakti to review an item and how their system works, and was very delighted.

I can't wait to see what 2015 brings, we have so many exciting plans for the future and I'm so excited to share them in the upcoming months. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my blog, be patient with my little breaks, and were kind enough to comment and share stories with me. Here's to 2015!
