Indie Gift Box Review & Giveaway
Although I blog for many, many other good reasons, I must admit it's a nice treat to be able to work with really amazing people and companies and help promote them. So, needless to say, I was honored to be chosen by Indie Gift Box to do a review of their cute curated monthly boxes. Indie Gift Box is a company passionate about bringing you unique, handmade items from independent artisans. Each box has a different theme and contains items from different artists each month. I received the Sparkle & Shine box and was so excited to find out what was inside! It was packed with so many beautiful items: Pretty wine charms that say "Sparkle" and "Shine", plastic diamond stud earrings, homemade nail polish, homemade lip gloss and a special extra pair of charm bracelets.
As a huge nail polish junkie, I was extra impressed by the quality of this homemade polish by Gothic Gala Lacquers. It's a beautiful icy blue colour embedded with tiny silver and blue sparkles. It applied evenly and dried nicely. The earrings, bracelets and wine charms, as lovely as they are, aren't really my style. The wonderful thing about that is though, that they will make fantastic gifts for my girlfriends! I gave the earrings to my best friend Carrie and the wine charms to another friend who enjoys her wine. Josie got the bracelets and she loves to wear them all the time! The earrings from Plastique are super cute, I would totally order from their shop (they have awesome geometric necklaces!)
My favourite thing in the box was definitely the lip gloss by Tulips Apothecary. It's a champagne scented lip gloss that goes on smooth and smells great. It kind of reminds me of root beer but then has a nice faint floral end note. Which seems weird but I actually really like it! After application my lips are so soft. :)
Now here's the good part: I've teamed up with Indie Gift Box to give you the chance to win a box of your very own! All you have to do is enter in the Rafflecopter box down below, and make sure you enter as many times as possible. Contest ends next Tuesday at 11:59pm EST and the winner will be contacted Wednesday morning. Good luck to everyone! xo

The February box was my favorite, I can't say no to library themed things!
ReplyDeleteThat was a good one! I also love the Spring one!
DeleteThe box seems like a really good idea! I like that it doesn't have a specific item like makeup or jewelry its kinda a jack of all trades box! So you never know what you're getting. I love surprises.
