Lush Haul : April

I try to do a monthly order of Lush when I can instead of here and there, this way I spend less money (or at least I'd like to think I do) and it gives me more time to decide what I really need, not what I want (everything they have to offer). I have a friend I'd really like to introduce to Lush because she has tricky skin, so it gave me an excuse to buy a bit more than I would normally at one time. This month I decided to order from the UK website.

 I've had to stop myself countless times from purchasing Gorgeous Moisturiser because it'd be a shame to pay $85 for a few ounces of something your skin doesn't even like. So when I decided I wanted to get another gift box - the best way to try new Lush products without paying a lot for them - I knew Hello, Gorgeous was the one. Not only can I test Gorgeous now but I have been dying to try Rub, Rub, Rub for some time. My Ocean Salt is almost gone and I want to compare the two of them. But we'll save that for another time...


We don't have a tub here - gasp! - so I haven't had the luxury of trying bubble bars or bath bombs yet. But the new house has a rather large tub so I quickly snatched up one of these Fizz Tanks for my future bath bomb obsession. Because let's be honest, I will be obsessed. Fizz Tanks couldn't get any neater: They're recycled from used black lush pots, they have talking sea creatures on them, they keep your ballistics cozy and you can take them apart to be properly washed!

 The Kiss is a lip gloss that only comes out for Valentines Day. When I saw the UK store still had it in stock I was stoked - It smells and tastes so sweet. And it's vegan!

**Tip: Oddly enough, it's cheaper to order from the UK. Yes, the shipping is pricey, but most of the products are actually a lot cheaper than they are in Canada/US when you change the currency. Plus, the Wrapped boxes are sometimes packed with different items and they have neat things that we don't have yet, like British Nanny SPF Moisturiser and the Fizz Tank.**

Each knot-wrap is hand made and takes time so when they're out of stock, they're out for awhile. I've been waiting for Stripes to come back for ever but no store seems to have it stocked. No matter, Yellow Brick Road is just as awesome. I can finally use my cleansers and masks without getting my hair mucky. (You can see what this one looks like unfolded in the Fizz Tank photo.)

Oops, looks like I didn't need a haul this month (this is only half my collection). But what am I talking about - you can never have too much Lush.
